Celebrate Christmas in the atmospheric surroundings of Bisham Abbey.

There are three different Christmas Party options this year, all designed to ensure that your party is unforgettable. Bisham Abbey has a fascinating history - it was built around 1260 for the Knights Templar; a very powerful order of knights in the Middle Ages. In 1310 the building was used as a place of confinement for Queen Elizabeth of Scots and her husband Robert the Bruce, then years later in 1540 it was used by Henry VIII and left to his fourth wife of only 6 months, Anne of Cleves as part of her divorce settlement.

Bisham Abbey is located just outside Marlow, on the border of Berkshire and Buckinghamshire. Christmas Parties are an ideal way to spend a magical evening that steps back in time - from dining in the Great Hall with its opulent fireplace and high ceilings, to dancing the night away under the chandeliers in our Margaret Dickinson lounge, which overlooks the River Thames.

Whether you are organising a Christmas party for a group of friends or colleagues, or simply celebrating as a couple, there is a party to suit you at Bisham Abbey.

If you would like to hold a party of any kind at Bisham Abbey, we can provide a package to suit you. Marquees, quiet dinners for small groups - the choice is yours. Our rooms offer the following capacity:

Great Hall - Seats 120
The Warwick Road - Seats 60

Accommodation

The Bisham Abbey site is currently undergoing an exciting transformation, which will provide 50 new bedrooms in Spring 2014. Therefore we can not provide on-site accommodation this year, but if you need any help we can recommend our hotel partners whom offer our guests preferential rates.

Parking on site is free.

Terms & Conditions

A £10.00 deposit per person must be paid within 10 working days of making the booking otherwise the booking will automatically be released. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. In the event of a cancellation or reduction in numbers, refunds will not be given. Increase in numbers is subject to availability. Vegetarian meals and any special dietary requirements must be booked with pre-orders. Pre-orders for all Christmas parties are required for your group 7 days before your party date. All prices in the brochure include VAT. Full payment is required 4 weeks before your reserved date.
