Football League Exit Trials
Bisham Abbey was proud to host the Football League Exit trials earlier this month with over 150 people visiting the venue whilst the boys battled it out on the pitches.
Each season the football league gives young players not offered an apprenticeship or professional contact offered by clubs to opportunity to showcase their talents in front of representatives of other teams at the annual exit and assessment trials.
On average the 90 or so schoolboy players 90 attend the trials, each is given an equal amount of playing time in order to impress the 100 or so club representatives who attend.
Over the year the trials have proved very successful with over 60% of the boys being offered at least a trial with another club. We wish all the boys the best of luck in their future careers at hope to see them back at Bisham abbey training, this time with a team, very soon.
